Welcome to our multi-agency training and learning programme for 2023 – 2024. We know working together helps keep children safe and so providing opportunities for staff to learn together helps support a culture of partnership, helpful challenge, continuous improvement and child focused best practice.

We’ve taken a blended approach with some courses delivered online and others face to face. For details of all our courses, dates and times and to book a space please go to Course Information & Booking

Costs To Attend Training
There is a cost to attend our courses for all agencies including the statutory and voluntary sectors. Some agencies have a pre-paid funding arrangement with us meaning the cost of attendance is already covered. These are:
-Devon and Cornwall Police
-Plymouth City Council
-Devon Clinical Commissioning Group
-City College Plymouth
-Livewell Southwest
-Plymouth Hospitals Trust
-All Children’s Centre’s
-All Childminders
-All Nursery/Pre-school Settings
If you don’t work for any of the above agencies or services the cost to attend is;
-£85 per person for a one day face to face course
-£45 per person for a half day / 3 hour face to face course
-£30 per person for a two and a half hour webinar
We will invoice you following attendance. For payment purposes, most schools and organisations that pay in this way will require a purchase order number before booking a course. If you are a local authority maintained school then please do not provide a purchase order number as we will do an internal charge via Plymouth City Council. Please check with your agency before booking and include any purchase order number when booking online where there is a section included for you to add this.
Please note that some of our courses do not have any cost to them such as the Trauma Informed Practice.

Plymouth City Council, on behalf of the PSCP, collects information from professionals who book onto and attend PSCP training events for the purpose of analysing and evaluating the effectiveness of multi agency child protection training as required under statutory HM Government guidance ‘Working Together to Safeguard Children’.
