Course Description
Delivered by NSPCC Plymouth Together for Childhood staff this course will consider Problematic Sexual Behaviour (PSB) displayed by children and young people. The workshop will equip you to use specifically designed resources with children who have displayed PSB and their parents and carers.
By the end of this course, you will:
Be able to consider sexual behaviour using the NSPCC Hackett Continuum
Work with a child who has displayed problematic sexual behaviour
Support the child that you are working with to address their problematic behaviours
Work with parents and carers to help them understand their child’s behaviour and how to support them
Confidently use the resources and session plans provided in your direct work with children, parents and carers

This course is free to all agencies and professionals.
Who’s the Course For?
This course is aimed at operational staff (within schools and other settings) who would have the capacity and opportunity to use the resources within their setting e.g. youth and community workers, family support advisors, pastoral staff, SENCO’s etc.
