Course Description
This online session introduces participants to child exploitation, the concept of contextual safeguarding and focuses on extrafamilial harm i.e. risks and harm not caused by families or outside the home. It also explains how the Adolescent Safety Framework in Plymouth can help workers to understand the needs of young people and how to respond where there are issues of exploitation or harm outside the home.

Who’s the Course For?
This course is for all staff/volunteers across the multi agency network but is particularly relevant for those working with children in the top of primary school (Year 6) to young people aged under 18.
How Do I Book?
We currently have no dates available for the CE/ASF training, there is ongoing work to prepare new ones which we will share once available.
Pre Course Preparation
Prior to the session please familiarise yourself with the Safer Me Assessment and Adolescent Safety Framework Flowchart. Please also have these to hand when joining the course as the facilitators will be guiding you through them. You can find both documents HERE.
