Multi-agency Training : New Arrangements for September 2020 to December 2020 Confirmed

In the Safeguarding Children Partnership we want to make sure that professionals across the multi agency network have access to high quality learning as we all begin to get used to the ‘new norm’ of working following Covid 19.

So, we are pleased to announce that our training programme will resume in September 2020 ….just slightly differently. All courses will start again but will take place via a Microsoft Teams live and interactive webinar. You don’t need Microsoft Teams software to attend a webinar and can join via your internet browser if that’s the case.  The webinars will be 2 ½ hours long supported by pre-course reading for most courses.  We have been busy trialling this format during the summer months and following positive feedback will move fully to this style of delivery in September 2020.

All existing course dates in the training calendar will continue to stand but will be delivered via webinar. There will be one webinar taking place on each course date with a start time of 10am and finishing at 12.30pm. Once you have applied and your place confirmed we will send you any pre-course materials with a link to join the webinar. 

You’ve also told us that you’re missing spending time with colleagues face to face…working and learning together with all the benefits this brings. So we will review the above arrangements and when we are able to start delivering face to face training again we will do so at the earliest point possible.
