Course Description

This online session introduces participants to child exploitation, the concept of contextual safeguarding and focuses on extrafamilial harm i.e. risks and harm not caused by families or outside the home. It also explains how the Adolescent Safety Framework in Plymouth can help workers to understand the needs of young people and how to respond where there are issues of exploitation or harm outside the home.

Who’s the Course For?

This course is for all staff/volunteers across the multi agency network but is particularly relevant for those working with children in the top of primary school (Year 6) to young people aged under 18.

Pre Course Preparation
