Course Description

Responsing to child sexual abuse requires a whole system, whole family approach. This course will explore how to work with non-abusing parents, carers and families where concerns about the sexual abuse of their child have been raised or identified. 

How Much? 

There is a cost to attend this course for all partner agencies including the statutory and voluntary sectors. Some agencies have a pre-paid funding arrangement with us meaning the cost of attendance is already covered. These are:
-Devon and Cornwall Police
-Plymouth City Council
-Devon Integrated Care Board
-City College Plymouth
-Livewell Southwest
-Plymouth Hospitals Trust
-All Children’s Centre’s
-All Childminders
-All Nursery/Pre-school Settings
If you don’t work for any of the above agencies or services the cost to attend is £85 per person.

Who Is The Course For?

This course is for all staff/volunteers across the multi-agency network who work with children, young people, parents/carers or adults and who could potentially contribute to assessing, planning, supporting and reviewing the needs of children, young people and families in relation to sexual abuse. 

How Do I Book? 

This training can be booked on using the Microsoft Forms link which can be found below. The form includes the dates for sessions. When booking please ensure the details you enter are correct as it may delay your application form.
We aim to confirm your place via email within 5 business days of the application form being received by the PSCP, there can be a minor delay if we have a large number of applications come in at once. Please feel free to email if you are unsure on whether you have a place or not.
